An explosion of music, color, and energy in Medellin:
The joy of the people, the love for music, and the energy of summer were felt in the air at the latest event held in the city: La Solar, known as the hottest festival on the planet, which in its 2023 edition, hosted an average of 25,000 people who enjoyed a varied list of local and international DJs, as well as live performances from musicians and other artists.
This event has become a staple of the city's cultural scene. It attracts thousands of attendees from Colombia and the world, who come together to enjoy music in an energetic and inclusive atmosphere. This past Saturday, February 11th, at Parque Norte, a party full of color and sounds was experienced on five outdoor stages, urban rhythms of various genres such as reggaeton, dancehall, house, indie, afro, rap, and electronic dance music were shared, which undoubtedly fulfilled their goal of delivering happiness and good music to their attendees.
The Solar Stage, one of the main stages of the event, featured performances by Sean Paul, Ryan Castro, R.K.M & Ken-Y, Rels B, Chencho Corleone, and many more, where undoubtedly the surprise of the night was brought by Sky Rompiendo, inviting Feid to the stage.
The Jumbo Stage, on the other hand, featured alternative rhythms and electronic music and brought artists such as Grammy winner Black Coffee, Duke Dumont, LP, and Bomba Estéreo, among others, who made everyone dance and sing.
The Breakfast Club Stage had electronic-influenced guests on its stage, with artists like Burdo & Elemental, Cato Anaya, John Summit, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, among others, who felt the energy of each beat.
The Bosque Stage, also known as the oasis of the festival, brought the audience an electronic experience with different rhythms, accompanied by tropical and Latin sounds. The artists who were part of this stage were Voodoo Meluk, Killabeatmaker, and Populous, who made the audience move while they were carried away by their rhythms.
And the Boiler room, with its own stage, focused on independent urban music created in Colombia, featuring the participation of Los nenes del perreo, Sara Ramírez, El freaky, Chris Tamayo, and Aria Vega, among others.
Fashion, style, and diversity were an important part of the experience at La Solar, where festival lovers always find space to reflect their essence and personality while celebrating the vibrant culture of the city.
